Habitat for Humanity of Albany County

Habitat for Humanity is an international Christian housing ministry that serves low income families seeking home ownership. Habitat builds homes with its partner families, who are required to donate 500 hours of "sweat equity." Homes are built with donations and grant money, then sold to the chosen partner family at 0% interest. Habitat is the mortgage holder and works with its families on making them successful home owners as well as helping them achieve financial literacy.

The Wyoming Veterans Outreach & Advocacy Program’s purpose is to provide outreach, advocacy and case management services to Post 9/11 veterans and their families. Veterans’ Advocates provide support services to veterans and their families to assist them in reintegration back with the family, with access to mental health and substance abuse treatment services, employment, transportation, and other community resources.
